UPDATE Feds Release Detained Bronx Man Three Days after ICE Crackdown in Norwood

A father of five from the Northwest Bronx who had been reportedly arrested and detained by federal government agents in early February was released from custody on Saturday, May 9, according to Hands Off NYC, the self-described coalition of “over 200 labor unions, faith leaders, and community groups standing together in nonviolent resistance, dedicated to protecting New York City.”

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the two people depicted in the attached photos who they say are wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in the Olinville section of The Bronx. 

Two Bronx Men & Brooklyn Man Charged with Assault on NYPD Officer using Stolen Car

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced Thursday, April 30, that three men were charged with attempted aggravated assault upon a police or peace officer, attempted assault in the first-degree, criminal possession of stolen property, first-degree reckless endangerment, and other related charges for allegedly striking an NYPD officer while driving a stolen car.

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark and NYC Police Commissioner Jessica S. Tisch announced Thursday, April 30, that they had “put the breaks” on 11 of 16 people with alleged links to the Trinitarios gang who have been charged with various crimes in a 971-count indictment relating to a widespread theft operation of cars and valuable auto parts throughout The Bronx and the rest of New York City.
