Ever since arson was confirmed by the NYPD as being the cause of the 4-alarm, devastating, nonfatal, commercial fire that ripped through seven one-story, small businesses at 3109-3123 Bainbridge Avenue in Norwood in October 2023, residents had long been waiting to find out what would become of the demolished and long abandoned site.
