Three DMV Employees, the Sister of an Employee & Three CDL Applicants Charged with CDL Cheating Scheme on Long Island

Despite announcing in August that the Bronx District Office of New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) would be moving from the Belmont section of The Bronx to a new Bronx Terminal Market location in the South Bronx in September, customers with DMV appointments have been observed showing up to the now-closed office. Eleven customers were seen at the former location in October, seemingly unaware that the department had moved premises 14 days earlier, some on spec and some with appointments.

Automated Camera Enforcement (ACE) MTA Program Expands to Q6, Bx20, Bx3 and Bx7

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is reminding motorists that the Automated Camera Enforcement (ACE) program fines became effective on four more bus routes on Thursday, Nov. 13 i.e. on the Q6, Bx20, Bx3 and Bx7 bus routes and vehicles improperly using busways and bus lanes, blocking bus stops, or illegally double parked will receive summonses that start at $50 and escalate to $250 for repeat violators.
