Botanical Square Residents Without Gas Since 2024

Bronx residents of four apartment buildings at Botanical Square in Bedford Park have been without a gas service for over a year since a Webster Avenue water main on Dec. 16, 2024, caused havoc in the local area, as reported at the time.

Man Indicted for Shooting Allerton Gas Station Employee in Head

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced Friday, Jan. 30, that a Pennsylvania man has been indicted on attempted murder in the second degree and related charges for shooting a man in the head while he was working at an Allerton gas station, as reported at the time.

Bronx Man Gets 17 Years for Shooting Ex-Girlfriend in Face in Jealous Rage

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced Friday, Jan. 30, that a man was sentenced to 17 years in prison for attempted murder in the second-degree for shooting his former girlfriend in the face after hunting her down at a local nightspot in the Mt. Eden section of The Bronx.

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced Tuesday, Jan. 20, that a Bronx woman has been indicted on first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child and other charges for allegedly starving her teenage twin sons and allegedly keeping them virtually housebound for nine years, significantly stunting their development.
