UPDATE Mayor Signs Executive Order to Codify Working Definition of Antisemitism into Law

New York City Mayor Eric Adams signed an executive order on Sunday, June 8, to legally recognize the working definition of antisemitism as defined by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). According to the mayor’s office, the order was signed “to facilitate constructive discourse, further understanding, and enable a thoughtful response to antisemitic hate in New York City.”

Throggs Neck: Marine Units Search for Man Seen Jumping Off Throggs Neck Bridge

An NYPD spokesperson said a search and rescue operation was underway on Sunday evening, June 8, after a person was reportedly seen jumping off the Throggs Neck Bridge, which links the Throggs Neck section of the borough with Queens.

Police are asking the public’s help in identifying two people sought in connection with some seemingly unrelated, car-related crimes in which the drivers were targeted in both Spuyten Duyvil and Norwood.

UPDATE Kingsbridge Heights: Second 13-Year-Old Boy Arrested in Fatal Shooting on University Avenue

Police said a second, unnamed 13-year-old boy has been arrested in the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man in Kingsbridge Heights in April. A 33-year-old woman was also shot during the same incident, and one 13-year-old boy was already arrested and charged in connection with the incident on May 28, as reported.

Williamsbridge: Two Sought for Stabbing of Customer inside Deli

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the two people seen in the attached video who police say are wanted in connection to an assault that occurred in Williamsbridge.
