Fordham Manor: Man Sought for Armed Robbery & Assault

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached video and photos who they say is sought in connection with an armed robbery and assault that occurred in the Fordham Manor section of The Bronx.

The New York Lottery announced on Saturday, Feb. 24, a top-prize winning ticket was sold in The Bronx for the Feb. 23 TAKE 5 EVENING drawing. The ticket was sold at RANCH MINI MARKET & DELI INC., located at 2739 White Plains Road in Allerton just southeast of the Parkside Housing Project and was worth $38,846.50.

Hours after an early morning raid took place on Monday, Feb. 5, on an apartment at the NYCHA Parkside Housing Project in Allerton, New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Police Commissioner Edward Caban joined other members of the NYPD at a joint press conference held at NYPD headquarters at One Police Plaza to announce that nine people had been charged in the context of an elaborate cellphone robbery pattern with international criminal links.

Two Moped Riders Sought in Bronx & Manhattan Armed Robbery Pattern

The NYPD is appealing to the public for help identifying the people seen in the attached photo and surveillance video who they say are sought in connection with a robbery pattern that was identified during December and January across various Bronx neighborhoods located within the perimeters of both the 49th and the 50th Precincts, as well as in other northern Manhattan neighborhoods. 

Rivera Comments on Adopted State Budget, Supports “Protect the People’s Budget Act”

State Sen. Gustavo Rivera (S.D. 33) joined his colleagues in the senate majority to vote for the 10 bills approving the 2023-2024 New York State Budget of $229 billion before Gov. Kathy Hochul finally signed the overdue budget into law on May 3.
