UPDATE Olinville: Mothers Day Residential Fire Under Control

All hands were called on Sunday afternoon, May 14, to respond to a fire on the third floor of a multiple dwelling located at 3003 Olinville Avenue in the Olinville section of the borough, just north of Parkside Housing Project.   An FDNY spokesperson told Norwood News that the department received the call at 2.34 p.m. on Sunday afternoon. “Members were able to determine that the fire was located in the multiple dwelling [at 3003 Olinville Avenue],” the spokesperson said. Two Teens Sought After 17-Year-Old Male is Shot in Abdomen

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the individuals seen in the attached surveillance video regarding a non-fatal shooting/assault that occurred in the 47th precinct.   It was reported to police that on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at approximately 7 p.m., inside a residential building located at 3230 Cruger Avenue, between Gun Hill Houses and the Parkside Housing Project, a 17-year-old male victim was sitting down in the rear of the building with a group. Parkside Housing Project: 37-Year-Old Man Shot in Head, Dies

The NYPD reported that on Sunday, July 26, 2020, at approximately 3:10 a.m., police responded to a 911 call about a man who was shot in front of 2760 Bronx Park East, within the confines of the 49th precinct, in the Parkside Housing Project of the Bronx.   Upon arrival, officers discovered a 37-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head. EMS responded and pronounced the man deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.   Identification of the deceased is pending proper family notification.   Anyone with information with regard to this incident
