The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Friday, Feb. 13, the recall of 11,000 units of 3-pack smoke detector fire alarms sold by a Chinese manufacturer via Amazon from February 2024 through December 2025, as they pose a fire hazard.

Police have released photos and video of four suspects sought following the Wednesday evening shooting with a possible “gang nexus” in the Kingsbridge section of The Bronx in which three young teenagers were shot. One of the victims, 16-year-old Christopher Redding, was fatally shot, while the other two were hospitalized.
