Police said a man is in stable condition after he was found with a gunshot would to the head in the Wakefield section of The Bronx. Some media outlets are reporting the man is a police officer. The NYPD said a 29-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a multiple shooting incident that occurred in University Heights in May 2022 in which a 28-year-old man was shot.
