FDNY: Stove Fire at Tracey Towers Results in No Injuries

  A fire at Tracey Towers housing complex, located on the Norwood-Bedford Park border, on Saturday resulted in no injuries the FDNY said. An FDNY spokesperson said the department was alerted to reports of a fire at the 871-unit complex, located at 40 West Mosholu Parkway South, at around 5.10 p.m. on Saturday, June 24. A security guard later told Norwood News the fire broke out on the 27th floor.   Meanwhile, the FDNY spokesperson said the incident was caused by an “oven fire” and was contained to the stove. Soundview Killer sentenced to 83 Years for Two Murders and Wounding of One Victim’s Brother

A Bronx man from the Unionport section of the borough was sentenced to 83 years to life in prison for a shooting spree that began with the killing of one person in August 2019 and ended with a second killing, as well as the wounding of the brother of one of the victims in November of the same year.   Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark said the defendant, Dane Richardson, 40, of Bruckner Boulevard in Unionport was sentenced by Bronx Supreme Court Justice Margaret Clancy on Thursday, June 22, after a jury had earlier found him guilty of second-degree murder,

Group Sought in Bronx Robbery Pattern Where Male Victims Agree to Meet Woman at Various Motels

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the people seen in the attached photos who are sought for questioning in relation to a Bronx robbery pattern identified across the 43rd, 45th and 47th Precincts during July 2022.
