Bronx Man Charged with Narcotics Offenses Resulting in Death Used Stash House Occupied by Child
Federal prosecutors announced Friday, Aug. 1, that a 34-year-old Bronx man, Estherlyn Frias, a/k/a “Platinum,” a/k/a “Silver,” was charged with drug dealing resulting in death in connection with the “overdose” of a victim in Greenwich, Connecticut last month. Prosecutors allege the man ran the drug operation out of his partner’s home where a young child slept in close proximity to potent narcotics.

Gustavo Rivera (S.D. 33) joined local supporters of mayoral candidate and, according to some recent polls, the frontrunner in the Democratic mayoral race, Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani (A.D. 36), on Mosholu Parkway in Bedford Park on Sunday, June 22, to canvass for his number one mayoral pick, before later heading to Fordham for a separate “No Cuomo” rally. The latter was organized to oppose Democratic mayoral candidate and former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
