The news follows rumors of her apparent resignation in recent weeks following the filing of a lawsuit by a rival bidder, Agallas Equities, in which Peguero, Gibson, Andrew Kimball, CEO of New York City’s Econmic Development Corporation (EDC) were named, and challenged the integrity of the bidding / request for proposal process surrounding the redevelopment of the Kingsbridge Armory. The winning bidder / chosen developer, Madd Equities, was also named in the lawsuit.
