NYPD Appeals to Other Possible Rape Victims to Come Forward after Man Arrested for Raping Girl 15
Police said they arrested a 24-year-old Bronx man on Tuesday, Nov. 4, for the rape of an unidentified 15-year-old girl and appealed to other possible rape victims to come forward if they recognize him. They said the Bronx Adult Sex Crimes Squad arrested William Credle of the Belmont section of The Bronx at 11.37 p.m. on Nov. 4 (Election Day) for a prior rape involving a 15-year-old girl. On the last day of early voting, Sunday, Nov. 2, before Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, independent mayoral candidate in the general election, paid a visit to the Norwood section of The Bronx to deliver remarks to congregants of Heavenly Vision Church, located on the campus of DeWitt Clinton High School. Though he denied stoking fear among voters with talk of communism, he referenced two communist countries Cuba & Venezuela during his remarks.
