UPDATE Norwood: Burst Water Mains Creates River on Bainbridge Ave & East 206th Street

An apparent broken water mains wreaked havoc on early morning commuters in Norwood as Bronxites returned to work after the long, holiday weekend, sending water flowing into the subway and closing a popular corner coffee shop as water to the entire building was shut off.   According to an unidentified MTA worker, the burst pipe occurred some time before 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5, at the intersection of East 206th Street and Bainbridge Avenue. Water was seen coming up from multiple locations in the street and even from the wall and ceiling at the East 205th Street subway station.

Woodlawn Heights: Man Suffers Severe Head Trauma Injury following Road Accident

Bronx Woman & Teen Son Charged with Murder of her 7-Year-Old Daughter Julissia Batties

Crackdown Underway to Curb Quality-of-Life Complaints within 52nd Precinct

Williamsbridge: Search for Group following Non Fatal Shooting

  The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the group of individuals seen in the attached video who are sought for questioning in connection to a reckless endangerment incident that occurred in Williamsbridge, located in the 47th precinct. Off-Duty Male DOC Employee Charged with Assault

An off-duty male New York City employee was arrested and charged with assault in the 40th precinct, according to the NYPD.
