UPDATE Kingsbridge/Riverdale: Man Arrested for Unauthorized Practice of Profession after “Wellness” Center Customer Dies

The NYPD said they have arrested 55-year-old Luis Rojas Cabrera of Passaic, New Jersey and that he has been charged with reckless endangerment and unauthorized practice of profession after a 27-year-old woman was found unconscious at a wellness center on the border of the Kingsbridge and Riverdale sections of The Bronx on Sunday, July 19, and died. Rojas Cabrera was arrested on Sunday, July 19, police said.

Fordham Manor: Rendering Released of 12-Story Student Dormitory near Fordham University

A new rendering has been revealed for 2740 Webster Avenue, a 12-story dormitory for Fordham University in the Fordham Manor section of The Bronx, as reported by YIMBY. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed as a joint venture between Maddd Equities and Stagg Group, the 130-foot-tall structure will span 215,129 square feet and yield 162 units with a capacity of 600 students according to YIMBY.
