UPDATE South Bronx: Two Injured, One Critical following Scooter / MTA Bus Crash

Bronx Woman & Teen Son Charged with Murder of her 7-Year-Old Daughter Julissia Batties

  Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. The NYPD has confirmed that a 12-year-old girl who had been reported missing in the Woodstock section of the Bronx, located in the 40th precinct, has been found.   It had been reported to police that Krystal Crespo of Woodstock had last been seen on Monday, Sept. 27, at approximately 7.30 p.m., inside her home.   A reader reached out to the Norwood News on Oct. 29 to confirm Krystal had been found. Mott Haven: 7-Year-Old Girl’s Death Classified a Homicide

Police have classified the recent death of a 7-year-old girl in Mott Haven as a homicide.   On Tuesday, August 10, at approximately 8.06 a.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding an unconscious female inside an apartment at an Alexander Avenue residential building in Mott Haven, located in the 40th precinct, and also in Police Service Area (PSA) 7 which serves NYCHA housing in the 40th and 42nd precincts.   Upon arrival, responding officers encountered EMS personnel providing emergency care to an unconscious 7-year-old girl.
