A 69-year-old man has been arrested following a fatal car crash in the Wakefield section of The Bronx in April in which a 29-year-old man died.

Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark and NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch announced Monday, June 15, that 32 people, named further below, have been charged in five indictments with flooding the Hub area of the South Bronx with fentanyl, heroin and other narcotics. They said four of the defendants are charged with operating as a major trafficker.

Police said a man slashed in the Fordham Manor section of The Bronx during an early morning robbery is in stable condition. They added that the victim was being uncooperative with investigators.

Police released photos on Tuesday night, June 9, of two persons of interest sought for questioning following the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Jayden Purvis in the Norwood section of The Bronx late on Sunday night, June 7, and are asking the public for help identifying the two.

Four Men Charged with Sale of Assault Weapon & Eight Other Guns to Undercover Cop

Bronx District Attorney (DA) Darcel D. Clark and Police Commissioner Jessica S. Tisch announced May 20 that four men have been indicted in a firearms trafficking conspiracy in which nine guns were sold to an undercover police officer out of a building in the Concourse section of the Bronx. One of the guns was a .300 Blackout semi-automatic rifle.
