Norwood: Man Hospitalized after Stabbing on East 207th Street, Three Males Sought

A 31-year-old man has been hospitalized following a stabbing in the Norwood section of The Bronx, police said.

 

An NYPD spokesperson said that at around 1.18 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, at 291 East 207th Street, between Perry Avenue and Bainbridge Avenue, a 31-year-old male victim was slashed on the left side of his face following a dispute.

The spokesperson said the victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital by EMS, where he was listed as stable.

They said three unidentified males, wearing all black, who fled the scene in an unknown direction were being sought for questioning in connection with the incident.

Norwood News spoke to a few people at the location in the early hours of Saturday morning and asked them if they had seen or heard anything but they had not.

 

A trail of blood stains was seen for about half a block from the crime scene, located roughly opposite the former St. Brendan’s School, after a 31-year-old man was stabbed at  291 East 207th Street.
