Williamsbridge: 69-Year-Old Man Found Unconscious Dies, 2nd Man Arrested on Assault Charges

The NYPD launched a murder investigation after a 69-year-old man was found unconscious and unresponsive on the street in the Williamsbridge section of The Bronx, and died one week later.   Police said that on Tuesday, April 25, at approximately 4.47 a.m., EMS responded to a report of an aided, unconscious man in front of 3212 Cruger Avenue in Williamsbridge. Fordham Manor: Man Stabbed on Valentine Avenue in Stable Condition

Police are looking for two men wanted in connection with a stabbing reported in front of 2527 Valentine Avenue, between East 196th Street and East Fordham Road on Tuesday, April 18.   Police officials say the 28-year-old male victim was walking southbound at 2.25 a.m. when he was approached and stabbed by two assailants. Riverdale: Man Arrested following Road Accident which Killed 99-Year-Old Female Pedestrian

A 54-year-old Riverdale man has been arrested following the death last year of a 99-year-old female pedestrian, also from Riverdale.   As previously reported, the 99-year-old died after she was struck by an SUV while attempting to cross an intersection in southeast Riverdale, just west of the Kingsbridge border, on July 27, at around 8.30 a.m.   Police said officers were flagged down regarding a pedestrian who had been struck at Oxford Street and West 235th Street on the day of the incident.
