North Bronx: Female NYPD Employee Arrested on Assault & Other Charges

The New York Police Department said a female employee in their department has been arrested.

 

They confirmed that on Saturday, Nov. 4, at around 6.14 a.m. Aaliya Thompson, 28, an off-duty NYPD police communications technician was arrested within the boundaries of the 47th Precinct, which covers the north Bronx neighborhoods of Woodlawn, Wakefield, Williamsbridge, Baychester, Edenwald, Olinville, Fishbay, along with Woodlawn Cemetery.

 

Thompson was charged with assault, attempted assault, menacing and harassment.

 

A person arrested and charged with a crime is deemed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law.
