East Bronx: One Arrested, One Sought for Armed Robbery

THE NEW YORK City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection to a local robbery pattern that occurred in the East Bronx in October 2023.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is sought in connection to a local robbery pattern identified in the East Bronx.

 

Police said that on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at around 10.59 p.m., the first incident was reported when two males entered 1255 East Gun Hill Road in the Laconia section of the East Bronx and displayed a gun. They said they demanded money and later stole around $321 from the register. They said the two then fled the location on foot, traveling northbound on Bouck Avenue to parts unknown, and that no injuries were reported.

 

Police said the second incident was reported on Friday, Oct. 20, at around 8.10 p.m. when two males entered 1381 East Gun Hill Road in the Valley section of the East Bronx. They said one of the two picked up a wet floor sign and threatened a 62-year-old female employee with it, demanding money as he did so. They said the person later stole around $1,300 from the register. Police said the two later fled the location on foot, traveling eastbound on Gun Hill Road to parts unknown, and that once again, no injuries were reported.

Police said a third incident took place on Tuesday, Oct. 31, [Halloween] at around 00.50 a.m. when two males entered 3805 Dyre Avenue in the Eastchester section of the borough and displayed guns. They said they demanded money and later stole cellphones and around $450 from three male victims, a 28-year-old, a 30-year-old, and a 40-year-old. Police said the two then fled the location in a black Jeep Compass SUV, traveling westbound along Dyre Avenue to parts unknown, and that there were no injuries reported.

 

On Wednesday, Nov. 1, at around 00.10 a.m., police said Adrian Fendley, 35, from East 221st Street in Olinville was arrested in The Bronx and charged with robbery. They said the remaining sought individual is described as male, has with dark complexion and a mustache, and was last seen wearing a hooded yellow plaid jacket.
