Fordham Manor: Two Arrested and One Sought following Store Robbery

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the person seen in the attached photo who department officials say is sought in connection with a robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor. Police said that on Tuesday, June 13, at approximately 4.41 p.m., three people approached a business located at 2441 Jerome Avenue. Local graffiti removal group, Guerinos against Graffitti* have been thanked by their neighbors following the group’s confirmation that most of the graffiti on 204th Street between Mosholu Parkway and Valentine Avenue in Bedford Park has been recently removed. A one-month-old baby girl is in critical condition following a motor vehicle accident in the Unionport section of The Bronx, police said. A police spokesperson said the two-vehicle collision occurred on Tuesday, June 6, at 6.41 p.m. at Castle Hill Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard. “The one-month-old, female child / infant was in one of the two vehicles,” the spokesperson said. “She sustained critical injuries. Montefiore Einstein Give Out Free New Bikes to P.S. 199 Students during National Bike Safety Month

Twenty-eight students from P.S. 199, The Shakespeare School, were the lucky recipients of new bikes last week thanks to the Montefiore School Health Program and the Montefiore Einstein Center for Performance Improvement. The bikes were presented to the students at their school, located at 1449 Shakespeare Avenue in the Mt. Eden section of The Bronx on Friday, May 19. Montefiore officials said the Grade 1 to 5 students, who were entered into a raffle after demonstrating respect, readiness, and responsibility, also learned about bike safety during the giveaway event.
