EMS Issues Flood Warning for Saturday, July 15

The New York City Emergency Management Department (EMS) issued a travel advisory on Saturday, July 15, for Sunday, July 16. According to the National Weather Service, New York City may experience showers and thunderstorms starting late Saturday night and continuing until Sunday evening, with most showers occurring Sunday afternoon into the evening.

Olinville: Six People Injured in Bronx Partial Wall Collapse at Construction Site

FDNY officials said following what was described as a major technical rescue from a Bronx construction site in the Olinville section of the borough, six people suffered injuries, including three who were hospitalized.   FDNY officials said they received a call at 4.07 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, and units responded to 3073 Barker Avenue for reports of a partial wall collapse. “Members were able to determine that the incident had occurred at a construction site a that location,” FDNY officials said. “There were six patients.”   They said three were treated at the scene but refused transportation to hospital,

UPDATE University Heights: 65-Year-Old Woman Reported Missing Safely Located

The NYPD said a 65-year-old woman reported missing from University Heights has been found.   Prior to being located, police said Joan Donohue, 65, of West 183rd Street had last been seen on Saturday, July 8, at around 9 p.m. at the Canal Street subway station in lower Manhattan.   They said it was believed she may have boarded a northbound train. She was described as female, Black, around 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing around 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Wakefield: 28-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot
