LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester Searches for 2023 Mini Master Model Builder

  LEGOLAND®  Discovery Center, Westchester is starting its biggest mini LEGO® competition as kids across the Tri-State area build their way to be crowned Westchester’s mini master model builder.   LEGOLAND officials said children aged 5 to 10 are invited to submit their best original LEGO creations online for their chance to be selected for the live Mini Master Model Builder competition on Saturday, June 3, from 11 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester. UPDATE Mt. Hope: Child Dies of Cardiac Arrest After Apparent Fall from Multistory Building

  Police said that a 9-year-old boy died on Sunday in the Mt. Hope section of the Bronx. They said he appears to have fallen out of a window, though the investigation is ongoing. UPDATE Baychester: 10 Hospitalized following Motor Vehicle Collision

Officials from The Fire Department of New York said 10 people were transported to hospital following a motor vehicle collision on Monday afternoon in Baychester, south of Co-op City, and one further person was also injured but not hospitalized.   The incident was reported at 3.18 p.m. at Einstein Loop North and Hutchinson River Parkway East on Monday, May 15, and involved four separate vehicles.   An NYPD spokeswoman said an 80-year-old man was driving a jeep traveling northbound on Hutchinson River Parkway when he collided at the intersection with a yellow school bus, driven by a 72-year-old woman.
