Unable to host large gatherings for the last two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bronxites were out in full force last month, attending a nature tour of Woodlawn Cemetery, participating in a clean-up event at Bronx Community College, as well as joining other events held across the borough, all in celebration of Earth Day [April 22]. Police said one person was transported to a local area hospital following a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident in Van Cortlandt Park on Monday.
