Mt. Hope: Three Sought after 30-Year-Old Man Robbed at Gunpoint

  The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the three people seen in the attached photos and video who are sought for questioning in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in Mt. Hope.   It was reported to police in the 46th Precinct that on June 29, at 3.20 p.m., in front of 2031 Grand Concourse, three people approached a  30-year-old male victim and stole his backpack at gunpoint. Norwood: 31-Year-Old Man Critical After Early Morning Shooting at Decatur & E 204th Street

Fordham Manor: 19-Year-Old Man Dies following Fatal Stabbing

A 19-year-old male from Mount Vernon has died, following a fatal stabbing in Fordham Manor, police said.   On Saturday, Sept. 17, at around 5 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding an assault in progress at 2550 Briggs Avenue, located in the 52nd Precinct. An NYPD spokesperson said, “Upon arrival, officers observed a 19-year-old male with a stab wound to the neck.” The spokesperson added, “EMS responded and transported the aided male to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Morris Heights: 19-Year-Old Arrested following Fatal Stabbing of Older Man

A 41-year-old man has died following a fatal stabbing in Morris Heights police said.   On Wednesday, Sept. 7, at around 7.20 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding a man who had been stabbed in front of 20 Richmond Plaza in the Morris Heights section of The Bronx, located in the 46th Precinct.   “Officers responded to St. Barnabas Hospital, where they observed a 41-year-old male with a stab wound to the left side of the neck,” an NYPD spokesperson said. “The male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at St. Barnabas Hospital,” the spokesperson added.

Police: Two 21-Year-Old Men Shot in Bedford Park, Investigation Ongoing, Circumstances Unclear

UPDATE Charges Dropped against Bronx Cop Arrested in Alleged Groping Incident

A Bronx NYPD officer who was arrested following groping allegations has had the related charges dropped due to lack of evidence, according to a media report.   An NYPD spokesperson said that on Sunday, Sept.11, at 11 p.m., the off-duty NYPD officer was arrested and charged in the 44th Precinct, which covers the Grand Concourse, Bronx Terminal Market, and Yankee Stadium.   Police said Julio Alcantara-Santiago, 38, assigned to Transit District 11, which covers 161st Street and Yankee Stadium subway station, and who is a police officer since 2013, was arrested on charges of forcible touching and sex abuse.
