Van Cortlandt Park: Gunman Sought following Shooting of Second Man & Woman

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached surveillance photos who is wanted for questioning in connection to an assault that occurred in Van Cortlandt Park.   A police spokesperson said, “On Saturday, July 30, 2022, in the vicinity of Jerome Avenue and East 233rd Street, at around 4 a.m., an unidentified individual discharged a firearm multiple times, striking a 21-year-old male victim and a 19-year-old female victim in the legs. UPDATE Bedford Park: Man, 30, Fatally Shot Inside Home, Woman, 31, Shot in Foot

A 30-year-old man is dead following an apparent double shooting incident in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx, police said. A 31-year-old woman was also shot, but survived.   An NYPD spokesperson said officers responded to a 911 call at 2830 Marion Avenue at 2.25 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13 regarding a person who had been shot. Bedford Park Man Arrested on Murder Charges following Fatal Shooting of 20-Year-Old in Belmont

Four Charged for Interstate Trafficking of Ghost Guns into Yonkers

Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E.
