NY Lottery: TAKE 5 Top-Prize Winning Tickets Sold in The Bronx

New York Lottery representatives announced that one top-prize winning ticket was sold for the November 20th, Take 5 evening drawing. The ticket, worth $31,150, was purchased at Fordham Lucky 7, located at 152 E 188th Street #154 in the Fordham Heights section of The Bronx. Lottery officials also announced there were multiple, top-prize winning tickets sold for the November 19th, Take 5 drawing, including one sold in The Bronx. The Bronx winning ticket was sold at St. Gabriel Pharmacy, located at 18 West Burnside Avenue in Morris Heights, and was worth $6,444. Another was sold at 113 Q’Blvd News

The Administration for Children and Families, part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has awarded researchers at Montefiore Health System a $3 million grant to improve the well-being of families, by helping fathers with substance use disorders. The new grant aims to enhance a regional partnership between addiction treatment programs, child welfare services, and government agencies. Officials from the hospital said that in the United States, 8.7 million children live in households with at least one parent who has a substance use disorder. Bronx Community Board 7 (CB7) secretary, Yajaira Arias, was elected as the board’s new chairperson at the November general meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 15. The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the person seen in the attached photos who is sought in connection to a sexual assault that occurred in Fordham Manor.
