UPDATE MTA, DOT Outline Bx12 Planned Service Improvements on Fordham Road & on Other Routes

Regular riders of the Bx12 bus who complain that most days the buses are crowded, and that there are not enough of them can look to the latest findings from both the Metropolitan Transportation Administration (MTA) and NYC Department of Transportation (DOT) for confirmation. UPDATE Soundview: 5-Alarm Fire in Residential High-rise Building Results in 7 Injuries

Firefighters battled a 5-alarm fire that broke out on Sunday evening in a multiple-unit, high-rise dwelling for eight hours, well into Monday morning, in the Soundview section of The Bronx, managing to contain the blaze to the original building. Group Sought in Bronx Robbery Pattern Where Male Victims Agree to Meet Woman at Various Motels

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating the people seen in the attached photos who are sought for questioning in relation to a Bronx robbery pattern identified across the 43rd, 45th and 47th Precincts during July 2022. Norwood: E-Bike Battery Fire Closes E-Bike Store Temporarily, Results in No Injuries

UPDATE Wakefield: Worker Falls 30 Ft, DOB Issues Violations to Entity Already Sued by Burned Bronx Workers

A construction worker fell 30 feet from the 4th floor of a construction site in the Wakefield section of The Bronx and has been hospitalized, according to NYC Department of Buildings (DOB). Department officials added that safety violations were identified at the site run by BE Bronx Builders LLC, which is owned by the Stagg Group.
