UPDATE Van Cortlandt Village: Family Appeals for Help in Search for 52-Year-Old Missing Woman

As reported on March 22, the NYPD is asking for the public’s help locating Vanessa Morris, 52, who disappeared from the home she shares with her mother in Jerome Park, one week ago.   According to the attached flyer, the police, and a family member, Morris was last seen in her apartment, located at 80 Van Cortlandt Park South, at 11:30 p.m. on Monday, March 20.   The flyer describes Morris as an African American woman who is 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and weighs 160 pounds. Four Sought in Robbery Pattern in Kingsbridge Heights / Fordham Heights / Mt. Hope

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying the people seen in the attached photos who are sought in connection to a robbery pattern identified across the 46th and 50th precincts.   The first incident (reported in the 46th precinct) occurred on Saturday, March 12, at approximately 6.30 p.m., when four male suspects entered the Beauty and Nail Salon located at 53 West 181st Street in Fordham Heights, and approached a 36-year-old man, sitting inside the location with his girlfriend.     The suspects brandished a gun and demanded the couple’s property. Jerome Park: 16-Year-Old Assaulted & Robbed at Mosholu Parkway Subway Station

UPDATE Wakefield: Arrest Made in Investigation into Fatal Shooting of 19-Year-Old Male

Police have made an arrest in the murder investigation of a 19-year-old male who was shot multiple times in the chest last month in Wakefield.   On Friday, March 25, at approximately 6.48 p.m., police responded to gunshot activity which was picked up by certain gunshot technology at 4389 Matilda Avenue in Wakefield. Upon arrival, officers observed a 19-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso in front of 638 Nereid Avenue, also in the Wakefield section of the borough.   EMS responded and transported the aided man to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Allerton: Assault on Employee of Chinese Restaurant Over Food Service

Belmont: 29-Year-Old Man Dies following Scooter Collision

A 29-year-old man has died following a scooter collision in the Belmont section of The Bronx.   On Thursday, March 24, at approximately 10.32 p.m., police responded to a 911 call regarding an unconscious man who was lying on the roadway at Southern Boulevard near Crotona Avenue, in the Belmont section of the Bronx.   Upon arrival, officers observed a 29-year-old man, lying on the roadway, with trauma to the body.
