Building permit applications have been filed with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) for a new, four-story, residential building at 950 Ogden Avenue in the Highbridge section of The Bronx, as reported by YIMBY.

Located at the intersection of West 162nd Street and Ogden Avenue, the lot is close to the 161st Street-Yankee Stadium subway station, serviced by the B, D, and 4 trains.

The proposed 54-foot-tall development will yield 9,124 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 13 residential units, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 701 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar and penthouse.

DJLU Architect is listed as the architect of record.

Demolition permits have not yet been filed for the parking lot on the site, and an estimated completion date for the new building has not yet been announced.

Welcome to the Norwood News, a bi-weekly community newspaper that primarily serves the northwest Bronx communities of Norwood, Bedford Park, Fordham and University Heights. In September 2003 the paper expanded to cover University Heights and now covers all the neighborhoods of Community District 7. The Norwood News exists to foster communication among citizens and organizations and to be a tool for neighborhood development efforts.
