NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi‘s chief executive officer, Christopher Mastromano, announced on Dec. 23 that the facility was named a “surgical quality partner” by the American College of Surgeons (ACS). Montefiore-Einstein Receives $5.2 Million in NIH Grant to Study Heart Failure in Hispanic Populations

Cardiology researchers at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Einstein) and Montefiore Health System (Montefiore) have received a 5-year, $5.2 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to explore the underlying causes of heart failure among Hispanics/Latinos, who are at heightened risk for heart disease.
