For others, the holiday is regarded as somewhat contrived, cringe, a little outdated, and perhaps an unwelcome reminder of their prevailing relationship status.

This week, we asked readers for their opinions on the “Epstein Files” and if they believe anyone else will be held accountable for sex crimes or for assisting Jeffrey Epstein with the sex crimes he perpetrated. It’s been widely reported that Epstein died in custody in 2019 as he awaited his trial on sex trafficking charges. He was convicted a decade earlier and spent 13 months in a county jail, which included a work-release program, for soliciting prostitution from a minor.

UPDATE Dinowitz Challenger Evers Calls on AM to Return Donation from Karp after Epstein Files Disclosure

Morgan Evers who launched her campaign to challenge local Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz on Dec. 7, for his Assembly District 81 seat in the upcoming June primaries, is calling on the seasoned politician who has held the seat for four decades to return a campaign contribution received from prominent New York attorney Brad Karp, after the latest Epstein file disclosures by the U.S. Department of Justice reveal emails exchanged between the deceased convicted pedophile and representatives of Karp.

Botanical Square Residents Without Gas Since 2024

Bronx residents of four apartment buildings at Botanical Square in Bedford Park have been without a gas service for over a year since a Webster Avenue water main on Dec. 16, 2024, caused havoc in the local area, as reported at the time.
