The FDNY said three people were injured following a residential fire in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx on Friday.

An FDNY spokesperson said the department received a call at 12.11 a.m. for a report of a fire on the 2nd floor of a residential building at 3224 Grand Concourse and East Mosholu Parkway South.

They said EMS treated three patients, two who refused transportation to a hospital and one who was transported to Montefiore Medical Center in Norwood.

When contacted about possible displaced residents, a Red Cross spokesperson said, “Regarding the fire on Grand Concourse in the Bronx, the American Red Cross has registered one household including four adults. Our Disaster Action Team provided financial assistance and care items to impacted residents, such as comfort kids, snacks and water.”

The spokesperson added, “Any residents impacted by this fire who need help with their recovery and have not already connected with the Red Cross should call 1-877-RED CROSS (877-733-2767) and select Option 1.”
