DOB Issues High Wind Advisory to Contractors, Crane Operators, Property Owners Amid Stormy Weather
The New York City area is experiencing severe weather, including scattered thunderstorms with wind gusts of up to 70 mph since June 30 and this may continue through Friday, July 2. Accordingly, New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) is reminding all builders, contractors, crane operators, and property owners to secure their construction sites, buildings, and equipment. The department will be performing random spot-check inspections of construction sites around the city.
