Mott Haven: Fentanyl-Trafficking Gang Leader Linked to 8 Bronx Overdose Deaths Gets 30 Years
Jesus Cabrera, a/k/a “Gee,” was sentenced on Tuesday, Jan. 14, to 30 years in prison for leading a drug trafficking ring that sold deadly fentanyl in The Bronx, federal prosecutors said. As reported, Cabrera previously pleaded guilty to participating in a conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and fentanyl analogue, and to a related firearms count.
Soundview: Alleged Bronx Crips Subset Gang Member Charged in connection to 2021 Murder of Jadon Robinson
A Crips subset gang member named Alieu Jarjou a/k/a “Scally,” a/k/a “Lu Scally,” was charged in federal court on Tuesday, Jan. 14, with murder in aid of racketeering, racketeering conspiracy, and a firearms offense in connection with the 2021 murder of 30-year-old Jadon Robinson in the Soundview section of The Bronx, prosecutors said.
UPDATE Man with History of Violence & Mental Health Issues Charged with Fatal Stabbing of 14-Year-Old Boy
A 14-year-old boy who grew up in the Wakefield section of the Bronx and who later moved to Mott Haven, has died following a fatal stabbing in Mott Haven on his way to school on Friday, Jan. 10, police said. Earlier on Friday, police had appealed to the public for help identifying the person seen in he attached image and video who they said was sought for questioning in connection to the incident and who they said they believed may have also been responsible for a prior stabbing of a 38-year-old male victim which also took place in Mott Haven earlier in January.

Clark announced on Jan. 6 that a Bronx man from Norwood was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison after being convicted of second-degree murder and additional charges for fatally shooting a bodega clerk and wounding the store’s owner in the Mount Eden section of The Bronx in 2021.
