Bronx Man Gets Life for Dec 2021 Murder & Attempted Robbery on Aqueduct Park Walkway

A Bronx man, Ricardo Ferguson, a/k/a “Maybach,” has been sentenced to life in prison by U.S. District Court Judge Richard M. Berman for the Dec. 5, 2021 murder of Robert Brown, Sr. inside Aqueduct Park walkway in the University Heights neighborhood of The Bronx. The news was confirmed by Damian Williams, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, on Wednesday, Nov. 6.

The New York Yankees have issued a statement giving their reaction to reports that two fans were ejected from World Series Game 4 on Tuesday, Oct. 29, against the Los Angeles Dodgers for violating the fan code of conduct, and interfering with Dodgers star Mookie Betts during play. 

Expansion of New York City’s Red Light Speed Camera Program Signed into Law

The Office of Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz (A.D. 81) recently announced that Gov. Kathy Hochul has signed the assemblyman’s bill (A.5259A) to expand New York City’s red light camera program significantly. According to the assemblyman, the new legislation, described as a crucial step towards reducing traffic and pedestrian fatalities and increasing road safety, will expand the number of authorized intersections for red light cameras from 150 to 600 across the city.  

Driver Sought in Chain Reaction Crash

Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who veered out of his lane and collided with a truck in Bedford Park. A second vehicle then plowed into the back of the truck.
