The New York Yankees and Bronx Community Board 7 (CB7) are looking for youth leaders who live within the CB7 boundaries to be considered for the annual New York Yankees Community Council Youth Leadership Award. Police confirmed that a 14-year-old student was brought to Jacobi Medical Center, following a stabbing on Friday inside Walton High School in Kingsbridge Heights. At 12.51 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19, police responded to a call from the school. Upon arrival, officers were informed by school staff that two students had gotten into a physical altercation in a classroom. During the fight, a 15-year-old male student stabbed another 14-year-old male student in the chest with scissors.
