The NYPD has confirmed that a 12-year-old girl who had been reported missing in the Woodstock section of the Bronx, located in the 40th precinct, has been found. It had been reported to police that Krystal Crespo of Woodstock had last been seen on Monday, Sept. 27, at approximately 7.30 p.m., inside her home. A reader reached out to the Norwood News on Oct. 29 to confirm Krystal had been found. We checked with police at the time but they did not confirm. Representatives of Mosholu Preservation Corporation (MPC) gathered with local community residents, business owners, and elected officials to celebrate its 40th anniversary on Friday, Sept. 17.
