Police have confirmed that a 4-year-old boy has fallen from a balcony at 1500 Noble Avenue in Van Nest on Saturday afternoon, July 24, and remains in a critical condition. The incident is reported to have occurred at around 2.25 p.m. on Saturday. EMS responded and transported the child to Jacobi Hospital. An NYPD spokesperson said the child was standing on the balcony of the 10th floor of the building, climbed over the balcony and fell down ten stories. He sustained severe trauma to his body. The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 16-year-old teen who was reported missing on Friday, July 23, in the 43rd precinct. William Nurse of 710 Croes Avenue, Apt #6C in the Clason Point section of the Bronx was last seen on Friday, May 28, 2021 at his home. William is described as being approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair. Police confirmed a 26-year-old man was shot on West Kingsbridge Road sidewalk at the junction of Jerome Avenue and West Kingsbridge Road, on the border of Fordham Manor and Kingsbridge Heights in the Bronx on Friday, July 23, at around 4.36 p.m. The shooting evolved from a dispute between the victim and another man and resulted in the victim being shot in the buttocks. According to a video posted by Citizen’s App users, smoke was seen billowing seemingly from two sides of one of the towers at a certain point.
