UPDATE CCRB Finds 12 Bronx Police Officers Guilty of Misconduct during BLM Protests Thus Far

  The Civilian Complaint Review Board (CCRB) released an updated “protest data snapshot” on Thursday, March 24, updating the public on the status of the 319 complaints filed to date and stemming from the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests. Thus far, CCRB officials said 269 cases have been closed, with 187 substantiated allegations filed against 104 members of service.      Officials said the CCRB has recommended charges and specifications, the highest level of discipline for the most serious allegations of misconduct, against 61 officers, and that those 61 officers should face an administrative trial run by the CCRB’s Administrative

Fordham Manor: 13-Year-Old Girl Assaulted & Robbed by Gang of Three

Fordham Manor: Man Arrested on Rape & Attempted Murder Charges

  Police said they have arrested a man for the rape and attempted murder of a woman inside an apartment building in Fordham Manner.    NYPD officials said on Friday, March 11, at approximately 3.30 p.m., it was reported to them that inside a residential building in the vicinity of Davidson Avenue and West 190th Street, a man placed a 27-year-old woman in a chokehold until she lost consciousness, and then raped her.   They said he then fled the scene on foot, southbound, on Davidson Avenue. UPDATE Parents Arrested following Death of 8-Year-Old Boy

The parents of an 8-year-old boy from Williamsbridge who died last June have been arrested on murder charges.   Police responded to a call from Montefiore North Hospital emergency room regarding the child, who had been brought to the facility by his mother from his Williamsbridge home, on Tuesday, June 1, at around 2.10 p.m.   The child was unconscious and unresponsive, with no obvious signs of trauma observed. UPDATE Van Cortlandt Village Fire Under Control as Mayor Signs New Fire Safety Law

Fordham Manor: Search for Man following Robbery & Assault inside Residential Building

      The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the man seen in the attached video and photographs who is sought for a robbery that occurred in Fordham Manor.   Police said it was reported that on Thursday, March 10, at around 11 p.m., inside a residential building in the vicinity of West 192nd Street and Jerome Avenue, an unidentified person approached a 42-year-old male victim and punched him several times in the face.   Police said the assailant stole the victim’s wallet which contained $60 dollars, $1,500 (pesos), a credit card, and a MetroCard before fleeing
