Williamsbridge: Search for Group following Non Fatal Shooting

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the group of individuals seen in the attached video who are sought for questioning in connection to a reckless endangerment incident that occurred in Williamsbridge, located in the 47th precinct. It was reported to police that on June 12, at around 3.22 a.m., in the vicinity of East 215th Street and Barnes Avenue, the group of unidentified individuals got into a verbal dispute with each other, at which point a reported good Samaritan, in a white Nissan, pulled up to the corner to speak to a female in the group.

The City’s health department announced on June 17 that the investigation into the Highbridge community cluster of Legionnaires’ disease has been closed. “No new cases of Legionnaires’ disease have been identified in residents of the area with symptom onset in the last four weeks,” health officials said. Police said a 29-year-old man has been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a 35-year-old man last year in the Wakefield section of The Bronx.
