Four-year-old Bronx resident, Mario Rosario, died following a scooter collision in Fordham Manor, police announced on Monday, Aug. 15. Four people are being sought by police following a gang assault on a 36-year-old man in Bedford Park. A 30-year-old man is dead following an apparent double shooting incident in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx, police said. A 31-year-old woman was also shot, but survived. An NYPD spokesperson said officers responded to a 911 call at 2830 Marion Avenue at 2.25 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13 regarding a person who had been shot. Police said a 25-year-old man from Bedford Park has been arrested in connection with the murder investigation of a 20 year-old-man that took place in Belmont on July 27. Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah announced on Tuesday, Aug. 9, that four individuals who were arrested in June as a result of a multi-agency investigation into the trafficking of illegal firearms from Washington to Westchester between April and June have been charged.
