The NYPD has issued a new appeal seeking the public’s help in locating a 13-year-old girl, reported missing in University Heights. Police first reported on Monday, Aug. 22, that Luna Elias, 13, of 2337 Andrews Avenue in The Bronx was reported missing and had last been seen that same day, Aug. 22, at 2 p.m., leaving her home. A 59-year-old woman has died following a freak incident during which a tree apparently fell into an occupied swimming pool in Spuyten Duyvil.
