Fordham Heights: Man, 62, Hospitalized following Daylight Shooting

A 62-year-old man has been hospitalized following a daylight shooting in Fordham Heights on Friday, June 16.   An NYPD spokesperson said, “At 16.50 hours, at 2386 Ryer Avenue, a male…he was shot once in the knee.” The address is the location of Ryer Housing Development, and is located between East 187th Street and East 184th, one block from the Grand Concourse, according to Google Maps. NYC Sanitation Confirm There WILL be Trash, Compost and Recycling Collection on June 19

The NYPD is appealing to the public for help locating a 15-year-old girl reported missing from Bedford Park on Thursday, June 15.   Police said that Jade Lantigua of 320 East Mosholu Parkway, was last seen on Tuesday, June 13, at around 3 p.m., leaving Bronx Theater School in Spuyten Duyvil.
