Police Appeal for Help with 2013 Double-Homicide Investigation, following Fire
The New York City Police Department has launched a fresh appeal for the public’s assistance in providing any potentially helpful information regarding a double homicide investigation that occurred in 2013, following a fire in the 43rd precinct. On Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 11.04 a.m., police officers responded to a 911 call regarding a residential fire inside 2045 Story Avenue in the Unionport section of The Bronx, in the 43rd precinct. After the fire was extinguished, 24-year-old, Jonathan Toribio, and 24-year-old, Kennedy Sanchez, were discovered with both stab and burn wounds. Both individuals were pronounced deceased on the scene.
