Police said a second member of the local cure violence group, Bronx Risies Against Gun Violence (B.R.A.G.), Jermaine Greene, has been charged with firearm and drug offenses, following his arrest at Fordham Road subway station.

Najhim Luke Gets 25 Years for Fatally Shooting Rising Basketball Star Brandon Hendricks in Crossfire

Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced on Friday, April 5, that Najhim Luke, 26, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison and five years post release supervision for killing Brandon Hendricks, a 17-year-old high school, rising basketball star and academic standout. He was shot in crossfire by a stray bullet, as reported.

Norwood: CVS Pharmacy on Bainbridge Avenue Reopens

Following the early morning commercial fire which destroyed several small businesses on Bainbridge Avenue, located between East 205th and East 206th Streets in Norwood on Oct. 10, 2023, and which damaged the CVS pharmacy adjacent to those businesses, the store has since reopened.
