Tremont: Search for 30-Year-Old Man Last Seen on March 10

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance locating a 30-year-old man reported missing in Tremont. It was reported to the police that Jordan Washington, of 4275 Park Avenue, Apt 713 Bronx, NY 10457, was last seen on Thursday, March 10, at 2 p.m., inside his home. UPDATE Citi Bike to Offer Free One-Day Passes to New Riders During Car-Free Earth Day

Eric Adams Tests Positive for COVID-19 Two Days after Attending Yankees Season Reopening

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has tested positive for COVID-19 two days after attending the Yankees season reopening home game against the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium, and on the mayor’s 100th day in office. The news follows the mayor’s recent, controversial decision to lift a ban to allow “elite” New York State athletes to play home games despite not being vaccinated.   According to the CDC, a person with COVID-19 is considered infectious starting two days before they develop symptoms, or two days before the date of their positive test, if they do not have symptoms.

Jerome Park Memorial Event Planned for Saturday, April 9, for those Lost to COVID-19

A coalition of community groups and residents, including Friends of Jerome Park, will hold a memorial event to honor all those lost to COVID-19 to date, as the country surpasses a second year of the pandemic.
