Country’s Largest “Passive House” High-Rise to Debut at 425 Grand Concourse, Mott Haven

The Bronx will soon be home to the country’s largest “passive house” high-rise development at 425 Grand Concourse in Mott Haven that will create 277 units of affordable housing. Bronx CB7 Addresses Rezoning Changes, Parks Projects & Traffic Concerns

Norwood Goes Electric with Installation of First Electric Vehicle Charging Station

UPDATE: Storm Elsa Causes Widespread Havoc Across The Bronx

Heavy rain and severe weather on Thursday, July 8, as well as the arrival of Storm Elsa which ripped through the City on Friday, July 9, caused widespread havoc across the Bronx, causing streets and parks to be flooded on both days. Mayor: Heat Advisory in Effect from Tuesday, July 6 to Wednesday, July 7

The City’s emergency management (EMS) and health departments issued a warning to New Yorkers on Monday, July 5, to take precautions to beat the heat as temperatures are expected to rise dramatically from Tuesday, July 6, until Wednesday, July 7. The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory which will be in effect in the City from 11 a.m. Tuesday to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
