The NYPD released in early March the bodycam footage in relation to the police-involved shooting of Michael Dotel, 30, a father of two, that took place amid a domestic violence incident at 2865 Creston Avenue in Bedford Park on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2023.

The NYPD said on Wednesday, March 20, that a 32-year-old Bronx male resident is the fourth person to be arrested and charged in connection with the kidnapping and murdering of two young people who were shot, execution-style, and left in a burning car on the side of a road near Pelham Bay Park in 2022, as reported at the time.

Firefighters responding to a 911 call on Wednesday, Feb. 28, discovered the body of an elderly man inside a private home in Fordham Manor who reportedly showed signs of electrical burns. He could not be resuscitated according to fire officials.
