East Bronx: 60-Year-Old Man Survives Shooting with Minor Injuries

A 60-year-old man has survived a shooting with minor injuries on Saturday, June 17, in the Laconia section of the East Bronx.   A police spokesperson said the shooting occurred at around 8.30 p.m. at 1255 Adee Avenue. UPDATE East Bronx: 18-Year-Old Arrested following Fatal Shooting of Man, 22

An 18-year-old male youth has been arrested following the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man on Saturday, June 17, in the Laconia section of the East Bronx, police said.   A police spokesperson said at around 4.40 p.m., officers responded to reports of a male shot at 1219 Adee Avenue. “Upon arrival, officers observed a 22-year-old male shot in the chest. EMS responded and removed the male to NYC Health & Hospitals/ Jacobi where he was pronounced deceased. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. Fordham Heights: Man, 62, Hospitalized following Daylight Shooting

A 62-year-old man has been hospitalized following a daylight shooting in Fordham Heights on Friday, June 16.   An NYPD spokesperson said, “At 16.50 hours, at 2386 Ryer Avenue, a male…he was shot once in the knee.” The address is the location of Ryer Housing Development, and is located between East 187th Street and East 184th, one block from the Grand Concourse, according to Google Maps.
