A father of five from the Northwest Bronx who had been reportedly arrested and detained by federal government agents in early February was released from custody on Saturday, May 9, according to Hands Off NYC, the self-described coalition of “over 200 labor unions, faith leaders, and community groups standing together in nonviolent resistance, dedicated to protecting New York City.”
